
Member Towns
The Northeast Kingdom of Vermont is a collective nickname used to describe the region made up of Orleans, Essex, and Caledonia Counties, which are located in the northeastern-most part of the state. Because of its beauty and rurality, it’s referred to by many as “the Kingdom,” but here, we call it “the NEK.”
NEK Broadband is a Communications Union District made up of 56 Member communities in the Kingdom, as well as Wolcott in Lamoille County. Two Governing Board members (a primary and an alternate) are appointed annually by their respective Select Board to represent their town.
